Netflix welcomes back castlemania for second season

Want something else to binge-watch after “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” on Netflix? Then, indulge in another Netflix featured show “Castlevania.” This action-adventure, mature, horror animation is a way to keep your Halloween spirit alive!
“Castlevania” is based off a video game originally created by KONAMI, a Japanese entertainment and gaming company, in 1998. Now that it has been brought to its animated adaptation in 2017-2018 and beyond, by director Sam Deats, it now brings to life the video game under the Netflix starlight.
So what’s the show about? It follows in the footsteps of the immortal, antagonist Dracula (voiced by Graham McTavish). He encountered a mortal woman, Lisa (voiced by Emily Swallow), in his magical, other-worldly castle. She asked him to teach her about medicine and science to aid people. He accepted, despite her humanity. They eventually married and had a son named Alucard (voiced by James Callis).

Much later, she is accused of witchcraft or “the devil’s work” and is burned at the stake. This is where the plot begins to thicken! Dracula curses the land to a literal hell-impending doom upon all as revenge for the death of his wife. This is where
the main protagonist, Trevor Belmont (voiced by Richard Armitage) is introduced. He’s a hopeless,  drifting drunk whose family was very well known as monster hunters. His family had been exiled and

excommunicated, making him the last bloodline of his family lineage. As such, he is met with the a decision to defeat Dracula..
There are 2 seasons up to this point. It first released on July 7, 2017 with 4 episodes and recently launched its second season, with 8 episodes, on October 26th, 2018. Though not announced when the third season will arise, the adaptation will pick up! Go watch the first two seasons now! It’s worth the watch! Splurge in the creepiness of the art and well developed plot to get the feel of old-fashioned, monster-infested Halloween.
