Disney just released a brand new, ad-free, streaming service was released joining Netflix, Hulu, and many other streaming services. The streaming service is called Disney+ and it will feature films and shows from Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, National Geographic, and Disney.

Disney has been planning to create a service where they could stream all their movies for a few years, but formally announced this new service a while back on November 8, 2018.

This new service has become a competitor to big streaming services like Apple, Amazon, and Netflix. Prices for Disney+ prices are set at $6.99 per month or $69.99 for a whole year, making it a lot cheaper than other services like Netflix, which charges $9 per month. The Disney CEO Bob Iger, announced that all Disney titles will be taken off of Netflix and other competitors.

The main difference from Disney+ and other streaming services is pretty obvious: it will mainly stream Disney content. There will be about 7,000 television episodes and 500 movies from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucas film, and a few more. It will include animated classics, Disney Channel Original movies, classic Disney Channel television shows, and even the newest Disney releases.

A few films and shows that members will be able to stream on Disney+ include Disney classics like theLittle Mermaid, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Dumbo. It will even include childhood favorite Disney Channel original movies such as the High School Musical films, Starstruck, and Lemonade Mouth.
Aside from Disney titles, all eight episodes of the Star Wars series can be watched. It will also stream the newest Marvel films such as Avengers:Endgame and Captain Marvel. It should be exciting to rewatch all of our favorite childhood films.
