On December 6th, Floyd Mayweather Jr. declared he would come out of retirement and return to the ring to fight Youtuber Logan Paul. The official date of the match is February 20,2021 according to a post on Mayweathers instagram account. The fight will be available via pay-per-view. The first 1 million purchases of the fight will cost $24.99, increasing to $39.99 once that threshold is reached. On December 29, the price jumps to $59.99 and then to $69.99 on February 11 a couple days before the exhibition. This announcement comes one week after Logan Paul’s brother, Jake Paul knocked out former NBA player Nate Robinson. This upcoming fight wouldn’t be the first time Logan Paul has participated in a fight before. Logan Paul has fought before, he fought rapper and vlogger “KSI” , the first fight ended with a draw while the second match ended in a loss for Logan Paul. Mayweather is considered an all time great because of his record being 50-0. Floyd Mayweather retired after defeating Connor McGregor in 2017 a fight that Forbes estimated generated more than $550 million in revenue. Mayweather earned a reported $275 million, for his roles as a fighter as well as a promoter. "As of right now, I'm doing exhibitions," Mayweather told CNN en Español's Raul Saenz earlier this year. "I'm 100% sure that I'm not fighting against any boxer anymore." He announced in 2019 he was "coming out of retirement in 2020."
