There is no doubt that the quarantine blues have started to show itself over the last couple of weeks. With the time that we have spent at home, many have realized that there are plenty of things that they took for granted.
El Rancho students filled out a google form that we provided asking them what they took for granted, here are a few responses:

“I took saying the morning announcements for granted.” - Angel Marquez

“I would always hate jumping in the pool at the beginning of practice but now I miss it so much.” - Rodrigo Osorio

“I miss being able to go anywhere anytime I wanted.” - Sophia Lugo

“I took my classes for granted, being able to see my friends every day, seeing my crush daily, and the berry juice box from the cafeteria.” - Angie Campos

“I think just talking to actual people and walking to someplace other than your kitchen.” - Isabella Anguiano

“Spending time spent with friends.” - Pedro Hernandez

It’s been a time of reflection and for everyone and it’s allowed people to take a breather and remember what is important. Take time out of your day to sit back and count your blessings.
Remember that you are not alone during these stressful times, please reach out to those you love and keep your head up.
We will all get through this together, for now, try to keep sight of the things that are important to you!
